Robert Goodall President, Chief Executive Officer and Founder
Robert G. Goodall founded CMCC in 1994 and is president and chief executive officer of the company. CMCC is a major mortgage brokerage firm registered in four provinces, and has five offices across Canada. For the 15 year period from 1996 to 2011, CMCC arranged financing on over $6 billion of real estate in Ontario. During that time, CMCC also had the exclusive mandate to originate mortgages and manage the existing mortgage portfolio of a Toronto based trust company. Prior to founding CMCC, Mr. Goodall spent seven years with Royal Trust, where the last three years were served as National Managing Director of the Real Estate Finance Group for a portfolio of $1.4 billion in commercial and multi-residential real estate loans, including fixed and floating rate mortgages, construction loans, and high-ratio mezzanine loan facilities. Mr. Goodall is a trustee of Dream Office REIT and Dream Industrial REIT and director of a registered charity, Jump Math. Mr. Goodall has an HBA from the Ivey Business School, and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business. Robert Goodall is licensed under the Financial Services Commission of Ontario as a Mortgage Broker, the Real Estate Council of Alberta as a Mortgage Broker, the Financial Institutions Commission of British Columbia as a Submortgage Broker and the Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan as a Mortgage Broker.
Jeffrey Sherman Chief Financial Officer
Jeffrey D. Sherman joined CMCC as chief financial officer and corporate secretary in 2012. He has had extensive involvement with public and private companies focussing on organization change, risk management, and operational improvement. Mr. Sherman has lectured and conducted executive development and other programs for many organizations including institutes of chartered accountants (now chartered professional accountants) across Canada, the Law Society of Upper Canada, and was an adjunct professor at York University. He has written over 20 books on business, finance and treasury, including Finance and Accounting PolicyPro, Information Technology PolicyPro (guides to governance and internal control), Canadian Treasury Management, and Strategy and Planning Toolkit for Small and Medium Businesses. Mr. Sherman holds a BComm from the University of Toronto, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, is a Certified Investment Manager, and a fellow of CPA Ontario (previously, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario).

Pete Ivanovic specializes in sourcing mortgage loan opportunities in Ontario. Prior to joining CMCC, he was part of the Commercial Real Estate Group at TD Bank focusing on land, construction and development financing, as well as private non-bank lender focusing on lending products that included construction, development, term and mezzanine loans for all segments of real estate. He has previously held the position of multifamily investment sales specialist with Colliers International and before that was an analyst with a major commercial real estate services firm. Mr. Norton has a BA (Honors) from Queens University and a BComm with a specialization in Real Estate and Housing, from the University of Guelph. Richard Munroe joined CMCC in 2006. Daniel Stewart joined CMCC in 2013. He has over 35 years of real estate and lending experience in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and the Western United States including interim development, acquisition financing, term loans, mezzanine lending and structured joint ventures. Prior to joining Atrium Mr. Stewart was Vice-President, Mortgage Banking with Peoples Trust in Calgary. Previous lending experience includes 12 year as Vice President of Bank of America Canada’s Real Estate Group in Vancouver. Mr. Stewart also spent over 10 years in residential project marketing and sales conducting feasibility studies, business development and management of the marketing and sales of high density urban and resort condominium projects in Canada and the US. Mr. Stewart is licensed by the Real Estate Council of Alberta as a Mortgage Associate, and by the Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan as a Mortgage Associate. He holds an Urban Economics Diploma from the University of British Columbia with a specialization in Finance and Real Estate Appraisal.

Marianne Dobslaw joined CMCC in May, 2014 as Managing Director of British Columbia. Ms. Dobslaw has extensive mortgage banking experience, most recently as a Vice President for ten years at a major private non-bank lender, and before that as Director of GE Capital and Vice President of Citibank Canada. Ms. Dobslaw is licensed by the Real Estate Council of Alberta as a Mortgage Associate, and by the Financial Institutions Commission of British Columbia as a Submortgage Broker. She has a B.Sc. (Civil Engineering) from the University of Alberta, and an MBA from the University of British Columbia. Ms. Dobslaw has over twenty-five years’ experience in residential and commercial mortgage financings throughout Western Canada. She has originated, structured and underwritten a wide range of real estate financings including construction, term, and high-ratio mezzanine and equity participation facilities across all asset classes.
Jennifer Scoffield Vice President, Finance
Jennifer Scoffield joined CMCC in 2015. She has extensive experience with both public and private companies in audit, accounting, financial statement preparation and public offerings on Canadian stock exchanges. Ms. Scoffield is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a BComm from Queen’s University.

Adam McDonald received his CPA, CA designation in 2012, and joined CMCC the same year. He implemented financial and reporting systems for CMCC and Atrium Mortgage Investment Corporation as the latter completed its first year as a public company. He has a BComm from Memorial University, St. John's.
Mary Foley has extensive experience in mortgage servicing and mortgage administration, having spent over three decades in the industry, including with one of Canada’s largest life insurance and financial services companies. Since joining CMSC, Ms. Foley has assisted in growing the assets under administration from $100 million to $700 million. CMSC’s investor list includes most of the prominent lending institutions in Canada. In addition CMSC services mortgages for Atrium Mortgage Investment Corporation, a mortgage investment corporation listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX:AI).
